• While we at Nashoba strive to be as conscious and open minded as possible, our program is still best suited for cisgender, heterosexual men. We speak where we have a voice of relative authority. This group needs a new kind of support as they adapt and redefine their masculinity in a rapidly evolving world, and we feel called to aid them in doing so.

  • We’ll be hosting events in a tight radius around our local chapters (Bend, Oregon Fall/Winter 2025; Marietta, Georgia Spring 2026). You can find out about in-person gatherings by joining our mailing list below or by joining our invite-only online community.

As of 2025 there will be free in-person events available, but this may change as the community grows.

  • Nashoba has a 90-day foundations program, which is where the bulk of our coaching and mentoring occurs. Here we borrow from Jungian psychology to construct new symbolic rites of passage, like those missing from our culture now devoid of the village mindset. The program has 3 phases:

    1. Sovereignty: 4 weeks to identify limiting concepts and beliefs, and practices (including our favorite personality test) to bring the man to an awakened, present, conscious state—to realize his magnificent animality, and to no longer play the fool.

    2. The Prey: in the second set of 4 weeks, now that we have arrived at a more conscious state of mind, we are able to see our own shadow more clearly and to realize where we’ve been missing the mark. This new sense of self allows us to define goals with greater clarity of vision—to define and aim for the right Prey (goals) and stop attacking the wrong ones.

    3. The Game Trail: in our 3rd and final phase, we lay out our route—The Game Trail—and our plan of attack. With your new tools, you have what it takes to make The Kill (you always did, you just needed to uncover it), and now you have a brotherhood to witness your proving ground with shouts of celebration. We conduct ceremonies in person and online when appropriate, with the brotherhood, where we congratulate The Wolf on his attack(s). The Kill is secondary—you now know you’re going to succeed if you just keep walking the game trail.

After this foundations program, the Brother enters an inner circle where more opportunities will present themselves, including more specialized coaching programs and leadership opportunities within Nashoba.

  • Yes. Only brothers invited by other brothers can join.

The Nashoba Network is free, but for continued support along The Game Trail, we have suitable membership options.

  • Jake is a husband of 22 years to his high school sweetheart who blessed him by carrying and delivering their 4 children into this world, 2 boys and 2 girls… none of them little anymore. He’s more in love with her now than the day they met—and she seems to feel the same way!

Born in Georgia and the son of a welder (with Cherokee blood in his veins), Jake spent over a decade working to benefit and advocate for the welding community. After 5 years of homesteading, he and his wife made the decision to finally live their dream and move to Bend, Oregon, where he is now a Creative Executive and CMO for multiple startups (teaching woodworking for fun on the side). He’s decided to live fully into his calling: fostering community and mentoring men.

A former worship pastor now Chrisitian Mystic, obsessed with impact, spiritual awakening, conscious counter culture, and the great outdoors.
